From tee-offs to ten year milestones
Here in Melbourne, winter hits differently.
By June, the puffers are already out in force (let’s be real, they’ve been in rotation since March), the light shifts a little, and we all collectively lean on our local coffee haunts to power through. Fortunately, we’ve got our friends at Lumberjack downstairs and a hard-working heater to keep things warm.
Over the past few months, we’ve been busy launching new brands, refining others, welcoming new clients and helping long-time ones plan their next big moves. Here’s what we’ve been cooking up inside the Village:
The much anticipated launch of Clubdayze.
One of our favourite projects this quarter? Helping our friend and founder Bec bring her new brand to life: Clubdayze, a refined fashion line made just for women who golf.
Not just for elite players, and definitely not stuck in the polo-and-cap box, Clubdayze is designed for women who enjoy golf, who are giving it a go, or who simply want to feel good when they swing by the club (see what we did there).
Developing the visual identity from the ground (green?) up, we were proud to be part of this awesome new brand’s journey. Check out the range here.
Learning all about Manuka honey.
Digital marketing is fun, but even more so when it comes with a side of honey.
We're proud to be working with the team at Australia’s Manuka, who produce premium, sustainably harvested Manuka honey that’s prized both locally and internationally.
Along the way, we’ve been lucky enough to sample some of Australia’s Manuka’s finest, as well as pick up some seriously sweet facts:
What MGO is (the naturally occurring compound that gives Manuka its antibacterial properties)
Why honey farming is part science, part patience and 100% passion
And how Australia’s Manuka is helping lead the charge in sustainable apiary practices
It’s been a treat (literally and creatively). Lucky us.
Something new for the freelancers.
We’ve been working on something special for those who are running solo.
If you’re managing everything on your own and wished someone was there to lend an ear from time to time, this is for you. We’re creating a hub on our website designed to help freelancers master account management with confidence, boundaries, and all the little tricks we’ve picked up along the way.
We'll be launching our first resources from next month. Sign up to our newsletter if you want to be the first to hear when these drop.
We quietly turned 10 🎉
In June, Little Village Creative officially hit the big one-oh.
We haven’t had time to throw the party yet (typical), but we’re planning something fun behind the scenes to mark the occasion. Ten years of creativity, collaboration and doing things our way — and we're pretty keen to celebrate all that.
Other things we’ve been up to.
Full-flight planning mode for all our clients who kicked off the new financial year in July.
Laying SEO foundations and doing a full digital campaign overhaul for a new tradie client.
Helping a tech client build a smart segmentation plan for a digital campaign we’re about to test.
Continuing ongoing client engagement initiatives for a global enterprise tech client.
Crafting clear, compelling sales collateral copy for a complex technical product suite.
Running our Ask a Villager strategy workshops (aka: bring us your trickiest marketing questions and we’ll run a sprint session to help you unpack them).
Collaborating with the ever-talented Mel from Moonshine Madness on some fresh new illustrations for our website.
Turns out, winter isn’t so sleepy after all.
