We’re looking for a Paid Search Specialist (contract, part-time)
We’re currently on the lookout for a part-time (contract) Paid Search Specialist to join Little Village Creative. This role is designed for someone who values flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful work, and we want to actively encourage working parents and anyone seeking genuinely flexible work arrangements to apply.
About the opportunity
This position will start as a contract role, with the potential to go permanent and/or expand hours over time. Many of our long-term team members began their journey with us in exactly this way, growing their roles as both they and the business evolved.
You’ll be responsible for supporting our paid digital team by keeping an eye on accounts most days of the working week. The key thing to know is that when you do that is largely up to you. There will be check-ins, the occasional WIP, and priority meetings, but this is not a clock-watching, butt-in-seat kind of role.
At Little Village Creative, we care far more about doing the right kind of work, making a genuine impact for our clients, and being accountable than we do about presenteeism.
If you love flexibility, autonomy, and being trusted to get results (and if you actively dislike pointless meetings and work for the sake of it) you’ll feel very at home here.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a part-time independent contractor who specialises in Paid Search. You must be based in Australia or New Zealand (Melbourne would be ideal). This role could complement another part-time role or be a great addition to your portfolio of existing clients.
This is not a senior role. We’re seeking someone with around 2–3 years of Paid Search experience, ideally within an agency environment. You’ll be comfortable juggling multiple clients, confident getting stuck in, and ready to take some immediate load off our busy and growing paid digital team.
Experience working on B2B accounts, particularly within the tech space, would be a strong advantage.
The non-negotiables
Hands-on Paid Search experience
Strong capability in Google Analytics, performance reporting and analysing the numbers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Available to monitor accounts on a daily basis (Monday - Friday)
Available for priority meetings such as client WIPs and all-team WIPs (generally scheduled outside school pick-up times)
Based in Australia or New Zealand (Melbourne ideal)
Highly data-literate and accountable
Willing and able to collaborate in Slack and Asana
A curious, proactive, restless problem-solver mindset
Bonus points if you also have
LinkedIn and Meta Ads experience
SEO experience
