We’re hiring: Client Partner

UPDATE 7/7/22: This position is now filled, however if you’d like to keep an eye out for future roles with LVC, follow us on Instagram or LinkedIn.

Role: Client Partner (Senior Account Manager / Project Manager equivalent)
Type: Permanent, full time
Location: Melbourne (office / WFH hybrid)

As Client Partner for Little Village Creative and our sister company The Announceables, you’ll assist our lead team by being the go-to Little Villager for our client’s day-to-day requirements. You’ll be responsible for ensuring everything is delivered for our clients on brief, on time, on budget and to the highest possible standard.

For us, relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Our clients value our creativity, openness and genuine care for their business, as well as our can-do attitude.

As our Client Partner, you’ll live and breathe these agency values. You’re a people person, a confident communicator who knows how important it is to read the room and adapt your style to the circumstance. You know how to listen, and you’re not afraid to ask questions to get the job done right.

Having spent several years in an agency, you’re an all-rounder who knows the ins and outs of taking a campaign from brief to launch. You’re confident running projects autonomously, solving problems as they arise and pulling in the right people and the right time to make it happen.

Organised, efficient and a natural problem-solver, you’re the person we can rely on to keep the wheels turning. Your contribution to the team will help us foster a great working environment where creative ideas flourish.

Why work with Little Village Creative?

We are committed to the career development of our Little Villagers. This role offers a rare and enviable opportunity to build your strategic account management skills in a successful, established independent agency.

You’ll be joining a small team that looks out for each other. We’re an ego-free zone and everyone is responsible for rolling up their sleeves and getting things done. No job is too small or unimportant.

Our emphasis is on working smarter, not harder. When we’re on, we put in 100%. Then we log off and enjoy our lives outside of work.

We wholeheartedly support flexible working arrangements and have done since day one (long before lockdowns). We strive to create a supportive and inclusive workplace for all.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Acting as the day-to-day point of contact for designated clients across Little Village Creative and The Announceables, working with them to understand their requirements, set expectations and action requests.

  • Understanding our clients’ marketing strategies and ensure the work we do aligns.

  • Writing clear, concise and inspiring briefs for our creatives.

  • Presenting to clients autonomously as well as alongside our agency leadership and creative teams as required.

  • Ensuring client requirements are communicated back to the relevant agency team members for input.

  • Using your best judgement to escalate issues to senior agency leadership in a timely manner.

  • Collaborating with our digital team to plan digital campaigns and deliver creative assets as required.

  • Coordinating and scheduling resources across the agency (including external freelancers).

  • Establishing and maintaining timing schedules for client projects.

  • Assisting the agency leadership team in sourcing external suppliers and freelancers as required.

  • Accurately quoting projects and seek written client approval before work commences.

  • Ensuring projects adhere to budgets.

  • Ensuring agency process is followed, and contributing to the development and refinement of processes to improve productivity.

  • Coordinating all client meetings and documenting actions as required.

The skills and experience you’ll need:

  • Agency experience in account management, project management or a comparable agency role.

  • Hands-on experience project managing digital banner briefs, social media content creation and integrated campaigns.

  • Soft skills - the ability to build relationships, negotiate, resolve issues and contribute to a positive work environment.

  • A growth mindset when it comes to ideas, strategy and troubleshooting for our clients.

  • An enthusiastic, can-do attitude for all briefs big or small.

  • The ability to self-manage and take ownership of your projects from start to finish to ensure successful delivery.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Experience in managing video projects would be an advantage.

  • Experience in working with startups, tech companies and/or financial institutions would be an advantage
